Senior Precast Specialist

We are seeking a candidate to join our precast team. Responsibilities include coordinating with shop supervisor and precast lead to most efficiently complete job requirements and maintain on-time delivery. Attention to detail, team work, positive attitude, problem solving ability, and oral comprehension are the only requirements. Fast learner with ability to mentor and take ownership of certain processes within short time period after hire. Successful candidates must have clean driving record and must pass a drug and alcohol test. 

Combustion Service Technician

You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading existing thermal processing equipment, and the startup of equipment systems built by Onex at our customers’ locations. The service technician must maintain good written and oral communication with the customer throughout the build/service process to ensure that the job scope is completed. The service technician must be able to work with various Onex departments to complete jobs in the field and the shop.

Project Engineer / Project Manager

The Combustion Project Engineer/Project Manager will be responsible for designing and managing industrial furnace builds, rebuilds, and retrofits. The Combustion Project Engineer/Project Manager must maintain good communication with the combustion team, vendors, and clients. The Combustion Project Engineer/Project Manager must work with all relevant departments and vendors to complete projects on time and under budget and be able to provide assistance during construction.

Onex seeks a motivated self starting individual to blaze trails and develop a new sales territory in the central Ohio/Western PA area.  We are looking for a energetic, tenacious, and goal oriented individual who provide customers value though portfolio of industry differentiating products and services. 

Candidate is responsible to:

·       Identify new potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and equipment needs.

·       Develop business relationships to obtain sales quota.

·       Possess hunter mentality and have ability to cold call to obtain new business in geographical area.

·       Be a “road warrior” with frequent day trips and some overnight travel as required.

·       Develop and propose solutions for clients through innovation and problem-solving skills.

·       Attain a high quotation win-rate by understanding client budgets/specifications, submitting timely proposals, and following up promptly until the deal is closed.

·       Possess ability to close sales on selling value, quality, and workmanship, rather than cost.

·       Deliver exceptional customer service through responsiveness, technical proficiency, personal rapport, and proactively addressing customer needs.

·       Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on-time and as agreed.

·       Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news.

Welder Fabricator

Onex seeks a Welder Fabricator for work mainly done at our customers’ locations. As a Welder Fabricator, you will work on projects as big as an industrial forge furnace or as small as air and gas piping, but your job is essentially the same; designing, cutting, and shaping metal. A Welder Fabricator may be involved in the creation of new structures or repairing existing ones. Welder Fabricators are generally part of a team of other skilled workers, however, their duties are often performed with minimal supervision so Welder Fabricators must be comfortable working independently in a factory setting.

Industrial Maintenance Electrician

An Industrial Maintenance Electrician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues with electrical equipment. They use diagnostic tools to find the root cause of an issue and then they use power hand tools to fix the issue. Industrial Electricians have an expert knowledge of electricity, as well as an aptitude for working with their hands.
